If you are interested in a more wholistic way of living; this book can get you started. The first part of the book addresses physical and spiritual needs. (And when I say spiritual, I’m not speaking of religion. These two can either go hand-in-hand or get out of hand.) The second part is on preparing ancestrial Native Amercan food staples that kept them pretty much healthy in their day. It’s kind of a primer but will get you started on the right track.
For those who affend easily there is a small amount of referral to Native American history in regards to the conflict with the U.S. Calvary and Euro-Americans. However, all-in-all as a Euro-American, I found the book useful for what I purchased it for. The author was simply speaking from the heart.
