The soap arrived promptly and it smelled wonderful. I used it several times and the scent was great; at least to me. Some people I know don’t like that scent. However, about half way through the bar the scent had faded and I didn’t really like the smell of it at that point, so I threw it away. I would have been happy if the patchouli had lasted all the way through the bar, but, to me, it didn’t. I think the purchase was too expensive to have turned out this way.

It could be stronger in the smell department IMHO. I like soaps with a little heavier scent than this one…but still overall ok. Don’t know about buying it again unless the step up the smell some. I bought 2 bars of it and I’ll be giving the other one as a Christmas gift to a friend that I know likes lighter smells.

true hardmilled soap. The ingredients (the patchouli oil quality and fragrance is of a very high standard) are definitely top shelf;lots of lather, but alas the bar fades into the mystic all too quickly. I love the soap, but there are other small companies out there making soaps of comparable quality that are hardmilled and last 3-4 times as long……………Peace.:-)

Bought several different types as a gift for my mother who appreciated them. SANDALWOOD is very relaxing and my most favorite. If “gender” in scent is a label, then they have many unisex, male and female aromas – no regrets!
